Unhappy 2000 Yukon dies abruptly while driving

I'm seeing several posts pointing to fuel pump or perhaps the fuel pump harness, but wanted to ask if the symptoms might point to other possibilities.

Symptoms are as follows:
- Driving normally, and vehicle simply dies (no sputtering, etc - just dies)
- Then starts right up, and away she goes.

This is the first instance it has occurred, so no 'trends' so far. It would seem to me - electrical, just cuts out. I was thinking fuel pump relay or something of that nature.

I'm going to try digging up the diagnostic codes tonight - but any other possible issues I might look at?

Many thanks.

Check both ends of both battery cables. A loose battery connection can cause what you are seeing.

What size motor? I have a 8.1 and it did the same thing with no codes. It was the crankshaft position sensor. Pain in the butt to install but havn't had any problems since.
