2005 Doege Ram 2500 transmission gone?

Hi,
Recently i pulled out of Applebies in a Noreaster, got about 2ft of snow. Anyways, i pulled out in 4x4 because there was a snow bank at the entrance. I pulled out onto th main road, put it in 2wd and was on my way
going down the road, about 40, i noticed my check engine light came out, and my truck was having shifting problems. Then it became that drive didn't work very good at all, i had it pinned and i wasn't moving or spinning tires. so I stopped on the road, no one was out in this blizzard anyways, so i put it in 4wd figuring it would correct it, nope, still couldn't move, so i had to use Gears 1, 2 on the column, which worked fine. I got home, put it in park, shut it off, turned it back on, still check engine light, backed up, and it shifted hard into reverse, put it in D, shifted hard again, i usually wait for it to grab the gear before i started giving it gas, but iw aited long enough and it jammed into gear...

Going down the road gear's one and two work great. With these dodges, you can put it in 1st gear and it still shifts into second when in first gear is indictaed on the column.

Could this be a computer malfunction?
Or is my transmission definately gone?

I got 65,000 miles on it...

Very agrivating.

I have never plowed with it...
Although i do tow a good amount...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bwyman
