BMW 3 series ideas?

hey guys I'm a newb on these forums and I needed some ideas for my diecast model. It's a 1/18 scale UT BMW 318is. I was thinking of some wheels and a wide body. If anyone can direct me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: BMW 3 series ideas?

If your looking for a transkit, you might be looking for a while. Most of the transkits i've seen are only for Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and the like.

UT went under years ago, so the car is probably more valuable stock.

I would start with a budget 1:18 sclae, Maisto or BBurago. With some good paint and skill i'm sure it would be just as nice as a UT based model.

Whichever you go with I wish you good luck, and I beg for photos of the finished product.

I personally suck at modeling, I just collect rare models and position them on my shelf in an artistic manner so people think I know what i'm doing.

Re: BMW 3 series ideas?

im doing a 3 series E90 made by Welly, with wide body, turbo, exhaust, intercooler, hand made front bumper and wing. the rims are the same of the ERTL S2000 from fast and furious.

when i finish ill put pics, but im short of time and other projects in front.

Good luck with your project and i want to see the outcome!
