Changed plugs and wires in the last few months. It has a newer battiery. Tried to change fuel filter but nut end was rusted. There is not any service engine lights on. So please give me some help on what to check.

Welcome to AF.

It would help to post your mileage.

To start pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator which is located on the front fuel rail and see if there is raw gasoline in the line. Possible ruptured diaphragm. Also, check for any fuel supply system leaks especially in the engine compartment area.

so find out where your gas is going. Whether you've got an external leak, sticking injector, or as Bob mentioned a ruptured FPR diaphram. Check out the FPR, but if it looks ok, you might want to rent a fuel pressure guage.

Have you unplugged the MAF yet?
