2000 Venture driver's door speaker
The speaker in my driver's side door recently died. Since all Ventures seem to share a common list of problems (gas gauge, tail lights, power locks, hard shifting, wipers parking straight up, etc), I was wondering if this is just another one of them? Before I start ripping into the door, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem or has any pointers as to what to look for. Thanks.

Re: 2000 Venture driver's door speaker
could be just a loose wire . before you tear in to the panel get some replacement panel clips, because some of the old ones will not be reusable.

Re: 2000 Venture driver's door speaker
Mine failed as well. There seems to be a water leak path down the wire harness. It corroded the speaker and stopped working. I replaced the speaker and it's all better now.

Re: 2000 Venture driver's door speaker
Check the speaker wires where they run through the door post to the door as they MAY be broken inside the insulation from years of door opening and closing.
