Burn't

The other night I awoke to my horn going off on it's own on my 2003 sonoma. When I looked out the window there was flames shooting out of the front end. Once the fire department came and put it out it was a complete write off. Ther was no prior problems, I have never modified anything. The fire inspector said it appears something shorted out in the fuse box. Has anyone else heard of or had this problem. I don't think I will replace it with another.
