Random plug and integra console swap

So, I went to an auto wrecker, and found the ashtray light and cigarette lighter light thingy.
it plugs into a random 4 pin plug in where the stereo is.
however, the lights do not work? anyone know what is wrong?

also, as far as swapping the integra center console, is there a specific model I should use? i know it has to be a 94-00, but which year looks best and fits best?

my civic is a cx, 1990, hatchback. i have the dx center console installed... but it is not that pretty looking.

is there a console swap with pics somewhere?

this forum is dead i think.
i got the teg console to fit, but the ashtray light does not work.
even the ashtray light in my civic did not work, and i do not know why.

Thats because there is no ashtray light in the civic..

yes there is. I have one.
I believe it is from the SI...
I will post pictures sometime. But, It does exist!
I paid $15 bucks for it, with the ashtray and cigarette lighter.

Is the bulb bad?

If not, get a test light, and test the wires.

i don't remember if my LX had one or not.. I somehow don't believe it did though. I don't think it had the ring around the lighter either.
