Cool Idling high

my 95cutlass supreme is idling about 2000rpm's and won't idle down,checked idle air sensor, pintle seems to be working back and forth and not extended to far and can't seem to find any vacuum lines off,would appreciate any feedback. thank you

Make sure the throttle linkage or throttle body itself isn't binding and closes completely, then focus on the iac.

Also check into the THrottle Position sensor because if that is not working properly it will tell the computer you are opening throttle plate letting in more air which in turn will demand more fuel to keep the mixture at proper amount even though you are not actually giving any throttle. try disconnecting elect. connector to see if it idles down. If so replace sensor. could also try checking intake manifold for vaccum leaks. good luck
