Re: glass pack mufflers?

Glass packs really arent mufflers. They are more like resonators.

Re: glass pack mufflers?

I've always wanted one, but I've heard em' on a 300zx before with a true dual setup and it kind just amplifies the bass in your exhaust note; the ones I heard were a very mellow tone, nothing annoying. Like stealthy said they are more like resonators, but they're pretty cheap too from what I've seen.

Re: glass pack mufflers?

Muffler like Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, or N1 is better. Check it out.

Glasspack not as good. Just sounds like muffled engine noise.

Re: glass pack mufflers?

what stealthee said.
One of the best exhausts i've heard on a 3/s had dual glasspack resonators and dual flowmaster muffs. Nice and deep...almost V8-ish

Re: glass pack mufflers?

^ from what I've heard Flowmasters do more restricting than they do good, but they do sound nice. Meh, just straight pipe it, you'll be fine

Re: glass pack mufflers?

Ugh EVERYONE uses Flowmaster. I'm so burnt out of that sound.

I think that a Cherry Bomb muffler (not glasspack) sounds way more aggressive.
