Talking trunk ajar

i have a 2000 ls sport and the trunk ajar tone and warning comes on when i hit bumps or turn it's driving me f@#ken nut's can someone please help me find the switch that turns on the tone and light i can not seem to find it thanks

I'm not sure if the 2002 is different from the 2000. In 2002, there was a plunger switch on the bottom side rear of the decklid for the deck lid ajar warning.

thanks i looked for that plunger it's not there i am told it's in the latch ill have to remove and check it out thanks

the plastic trim in the very back is loose bro make sure it is firmly held down,the one that goes along the back over the trunk lock.
