modding mountineer?'s

As you all know i have a '98 AWD Mountaineer with the 5.0........been thinking of modding it lately with the lower gas prices we are having, and since the 5.0 is peppy as it is..THOUGHT A LITTLE MODING WOULD BE OK.....can always go back to stock at a later time...

question is...since it's AWD and you mod the motor...will the transfer case take the pounding...or is there a way to bulletproof the stock one...or is there another i can use to hold up to the modding of the motor....

i fig with the problems i've been having,,,might as well start redoing the thing and a little mod to the motor as well...thinking of a cam and NOS.....OR if the money is still there after the new year...was thinking SC
