I am having an issue and do not know where to start looking, the clock display did not change, the digital shift indicator does not come on and the odometer is not working. Thought maybe just temporarily disconnect battery and would let reset. Now the clock display is blank, the shift indicator is blank, the trip odometer is reset. and unsure if odometer is working as have not gone anywhere yet. any help would be great.

I know that you have disconnected the battery. Try doing this. Simply disconnect your negative(black) battery cable first, then disconnect your positive(red) battery cable. Wait ten minutes, then connect positive(red) cable first, then negative(black) cable. This should reset your computer and all other components.
