1997 Taurus with break power steering line
No power steering so I added fluid and turned the wheel and found that there was a line broken.
At the end of the line is a about a 2-3 inch long "metal tube" which looks like where the line is supposed to attach to something? Broken contact point for the rack? I can take a picture if it would help... |

Re: 1997 Taurus with break power steering line
This may help.
I believe the 96,97, and 98 are the same. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...41310010r14527 They have quite a few listed, but most are $80 + If the line is broken, replace it. I had one welded together once and it broke a couple years later when I was on vacation and far away from my tools. |
