New Fujimi release: 250 GTO variation

Fujimi is releasing 250 GTO, 3445 GT. Any notable differences on this car, besides the livery?

Re: New Fujimi release: 250 GTO variation

Originally 3445 had a narrow radiator opening, vertical brake cooling slots and a small bolt on spoiler. I have no idea if Fujimi will make the tooling changes though I sure hope they do. The general look should be the same as 3505 below.

Re: New Fujimi release: 250 GTO variation

The photograph of the car shows a wider grille opening. I doubt they'll do any tooling changes, especially if the car is currently restored to generally the same look as the current kit. I have to dig through my photos, the car was at Amelia Island and either myself and/or Veyron took photos of it.

Fujimi's January Releases (translated...sort of )

The car didn't have the narrow grille here in 2004:

GTO 3445 at Laguna Seca

But when I shot it this year it's been reconfigured with the narrower grille and vertical cooling slots:

I'll bet Fujimi leaves it alone so you can build it as it was before the latest update to the car.

Re: New Fujimi release: 250 GTO variation

I doubt Fujimi will change it. I shot the car at Laguna Seca back in 2004.
I have to say, after comparing the Fujimi body to the Climax/Hiro and the other 1/24th 62 GTO kits they did theirs the best. That is a big suprise
since they really messed up the 917K(front track is way to wide). The only problem I could see on the Fujimi GTO is the upper rear end inside the "ducktail".

Fujimi Ferrari 250 GTO 3445GT

So they are finally starting to use those molds to the max.
I suppose the only difference will be the decals for this blue & yellow livery.

yes jano...they finally started the 'one car many versions' thing again.

let's hope they really go into every detail of the real serialized GTO rather than just add a new sheet of decal & call it NEW.
