yes it is possible. What you will need will be 2 actuators for the doors and a keyless entry module
.

its not too spendy. I get the actuators for like 5 to 10 bucks. When you get the keyless entry module it will come with some instructions. The module has a big price range

most alarms have the ablity to do keyless entry also. Ya may want to check that out also....

then you could do this to your doors. I have the Alarm with keyless entry then did the 4dr handle swap on my hatch...

There is a How-To I made. However if you have 90-91 your seatbelts are in the way of where these motors will go.

Yeah, I just did this mod on my hatch. It was easy as hell. I went to the local car-audio shop and picked up some Keyless entry actuators for $15 a piece, and installed them using FourthGenHatch's how-to. Although I located them in a different area than hime to make sure the door panels would clear the actuators. I had an Audiovox APS-996 alarm installed yesterday, and had them hook up the actuators to some relays and the alarm so they work absolutely perfect. This alarm kicks some serious ass:

It's a paging alarm with a range of over 1000 feet, and I can do all kinds of shit with it. It'll do keyless, remote start, trunk, etc., and from the remote you can even check to see what the temperature inside the car is (I presume so that in the winter, when you use the remote start, you can tell when it's warmed up inside before you actually go out there). It's got a clock on the remote, wich can be used as an alarm clock, and it's got built-in timers for all kinds of stuff. For instance, if you put some money in a parking meter, and you have 50 minutes before it runs out, you can set a timer on the remote to beep at you when it's about to run out... just a shitload of cool features like that.

Oh, and it's got an outline of a car on the LCD screen, so that you can tell if your lights are on, if the car is running, if a door is open, if the shock-sensor has been tripped, etc. etc.

Cool shit, cost me $546 all together.

I've got the sedan handles, the passenger side one is installed, but they both have to be painted, so I'll be doing that this week.

That will work good... that's what I've got. It's not a central locking system, but I decided that I really don't need a central locking system if I'm using the alarm/keyless entry.

Basically, just hook up the actuators, and then install just about any recent alarm system, and you'll just need to buy the relays for the actuators. if you have a shop install it, they will provide everything you need. That's exactly what I did. I installed the actuators and sedan handles myself and then had the alarm put in. If you've already got an alarm system that is upgradeable for keyless entry, then all you will need besides the actuators is some relays and some wire.
