power drain/lean burn/door locks

I think I have the possessed Jimmy from Hell!

Currently, it wont take a charge on the battery, and when a charger is put on, all it does is lock and unlock the doors. I tried using the battery that's fully charged out of my pick up in it, and it does the same thing.

I've also tried unhooking all the switches in the door panels, no change.

Also, before it refused to start this last time, if the vehicle sits more than 3 days, the battery drains. This battery isn't that old, and I regularly leave it sit for extended periods of time (I;m a truck driver and it sits at the yard for up to 2 weeks at a time occasionally)

Next problem is an engine code that says lean left bank/ and lean right bank. Head gasket/intake gasket? possibly?

So far, the only advice I've gotten about the vehicle is the suggestion of explosives. Anybody run into anything like this?

Re: power drain/lean burn/door locks

When I bought my Bravada, I had the same issue with the door locks and major battery drain. Turned out to be a fried remote keyless entry module. Replaced that with one from the junkyard, no problems since.

Just to confirm without pulling stuff apart, pull the 30 amp circuit breaker in the fuse panel (it's the metal one, marked PWR ACC), then put it on the charger. If it's the same setup as mine, you'll lose the power seats, but at least you'll have a charged battery...

The Lean Bank codes are referring to the oxygen sensors...I'd let them ride for now until you address your electrical problem, it might solve the oxygen sensor problem too...electrical problems make funny things happen other places.
