Instrument panel, DIC, climate control quit working

My wife's '98 Aurora, she said she heard a loud click and suddenly lost the heated seats, tach, speedometer, fuel & temp guages, DIC, and climate control. I check the 60A fuse under the rear seat, it was OK. Replaced it with another 60A, no difference. Everything else electrical is still functioning.

I sure could use help on this one before I have to mortgage the house for an electrical repair at a shop.

We live in Minnesota, so the heater comes in handy this time of the year.

Did you ever find out what was wrong..? Same thing happened to us and we just bought the car today..
