04 jetta tdi

i have a stripped out oil pan plug with a oversize plug in now. it leaks a little has anyone heard of putting in a threaded insert?

save yourself the hassle and buy a new oil pan, they are cheap on ebay

Every time you do an oil change you should be replacing the oil pan drain plug. The part number varies depending on the year.

99-03 and 06 -> is N-908-132-02
04 and 05 is N-910-868-01
