Looking at a 95 Lasabre, Need help

I am looking to buy a 95 Lasabre, it has 88k on it, has a couple known problems, brakes, bearings, nothing big. Was wodering about what kind of fuel mileage these cars get and if there is any problems I should look for. Thanks for the input.

Gas mileage for these is anywhere form 17mpg to 22mpg. I use to average around 20 to 22mpg with mixed city drivng, now around 19mpg. Highway trips anywere from 30mpg (at 70mph) to 34mpg max. But I have got as low as 25mpg.

I say about the only thing to wory about with less than 100k is the intake manifold. But you can see if it has been changed before because the date is printed on them. Mine was changed (or manufactured) in 2003. So as a second hand owner I haven't had any problems with that. Oh and one more thing. watch the back wheel cylinders. These will fail.

great cars, keep an eye on your coolant level when you start to loose some replace the plastic upper intake with Dormans kit, it has everything you need in it to do the job, also with upgraded egr tube in it too. i did mine yesterday 129.99 at autozone i also asked if they could help a brother out due to holidays and they gave me 10% off entire purchase, . it took me about 3 to 4 hours to do the job, and could prolly do it faster. so its not a big job.

1995 with 88,000 if you dont buy it i will, lol

1997 lesabre 137,000 and it was the original plenum
