Where have you looked ? I would think that most auto parts stores could get you the proper hose with no problem . You could try a Buick dealership parts department as the Intrigue is basically the same car as a Regal . Check them out !

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
I would guess he probably has the 3.5 engine, and in that case your best bet might be a junkyard.
I dont believe you are talking about any sort of rubber hose, but that odd-looking angled piece of metal hose that comes in the top of the pump? This is a good time to tell us which engine you have

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
Yeah it's the 3.5L I've tried Napa, Autozone, Murrays, Advance, GM Parts direct, they only sell the high pressure line (which I already replaced) the line is metal and runs along the front end of the car between the radiator and the lower air dam, it's used to cool the fluid but if I replace it with a rubber hose it wont cool the fluid. I live in michigan so the salt took it's toll on it and with 250k miles it's done its job. Has anyone had to replace thiers yet? and if so what did you do? Thanks

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
According to some files that I had access to a long time ago. Here is the procedure. Looks like quite a job for a hose.
Return Hose Power Steering Return Hose Replacement Removal Procedure 1. Remove the coolant surge tank and set the tank aside. 2. Remove the power steering return hose from the power steering pump. 3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting. 4. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. 5. Remove the return hose from the clips on the frame. 6. Remove the power steering return hose from the retaining clips that hold the power steering pressure hose and the power steering return hose together. 7. Remove the return line from the power steering gear. 8. Remove the power steering return hose from the vehicle. Installation Procedure 1. Position the power steering return hose to the vehicle. 2. Install the return hose to the power steering gear. 3. Install the power steering return hose to the clips on the frame. 4. Install the power steering return hose to the retaining clips that hold the pressure hose and return hose together. 5. Lower the vehicle. 6. Install the return hose to the power steering pump. 7. Fill the power steering system. 8. Bleed the power steering system. 9. Inspect the power steering system for leaks. 10. Install the coolant surge tank. Parts Information Part OEM Part Price Power Steering Line/Hose Line Kit Right 5 - Without Variable Steering 26055484 $22.93 5 - With Variable Steering 26068609 $51.94 Order By Description. Left 5 - Without Variable Steering 26065126 $50.71 5 - With Variable Steering 26031076 $8.99 This doesn't make sense to me. Maybe the return line is two separate parts? The part number for the high pressure supply hose is P/S Pressure Hose 26074656 $189.37 for those who may be interested. Please get this confirmed before ordering any parts. This is all I have, and I haven't done that job.

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
just goto your GM dealer, look at the parts diagram, and order or get the part. -easiest way. With the part number, GMpartsdirect should have it also.

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
Those directions sound about right and there are 2 metal lines separated by a rubber line, unfortunately gm parts direct doesn't carry either metal line, I'll stop by the dealer next week and see what they show for it. Still curios thought to see who else has done this. Thank you all for your help!

Re: 99 Intrigue power steering return line
Are you sure you're not looking at the transmission fluid cooling lines?
