Question Mods ?

My friend has a 91 firebird w/ a V6 that is completely stock. I am wondering what are some cheap performance mods that can be done to the car. My friend is looking for a little more pep out if it.

if you want something cheap you could go with a performance exhaust system or an intake system, and some other minor tweekage that could give it a little more pep.

Im not sure about chips for the V6, There may be, I know the V8 has a chip. It's always something to look into. You could also port and polish the engine and put in a performance cam.

Sounds like a bunch to go through dosen't it goosm???
Have duel exhaust put on and add K&N to it. This should wake up that V-6 even more. If you find time or someone who can do port and polish and also add a peformance cam for cheap, i'd not waste anytime. Have it done. BTW, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

This is actually for my friend. He's the one that owns the firebird. He's looking for some (hopefully)cheap mods because money not in abundance at the moment and he's got itch for more power.

Are there any webites that you can recommend us to purchase an exhaust from. Our searches only find for 93 and up firebirds.

He could easily go with flowmaster or have one made up cheap at a muffler shop that would do the exact same thing. Not much is going to come out of those 3rd Gen sixers, at least cheap anyway. If he wants power, think about getting a V8 out of a wrecked car for cheap, best way to do it
