Hello.
I drive a 93 Cadillac Sedan Deville. I have a problem with my headlights randomly turning off while I am driving. It used to happen every once in a while and I could get them back on by turning the car off and starting it again. It seems to have progressed and now they do not always come back on immediately and it takes me starting my car over and over for up to 30 minutes. I use the auto light setting and sometimes it seems that clicking on my cruise control or turn signal triggers the issue. The one thing I have not tried yet is to stop using the auto lights and turn them on and off manually. I was thinking it may be a short somewhere but the shop that has my car is still unable to figure it out. It's been over a week now. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? |

Obviously, try that first. If that fails to give you a pointer to the cause of the problem, consider a failing headlight relay. BTDT. |
