Pro-Start Remote Ignition Problem - 03 Galant V6

My car: 2003 Mits Galant ES V6.

Here's my problem:

After purchasing in April 03, I had a Pro-Start (not sure of model) remote start installed. It worked for years after installation, no problems at all, then about 2 years ago, it simply stopped working.

This is what it will do now:

I'll attempt to remote start and it will crank and crank, but not turn over. Then it shuts off, tries again, then stops and asks for a key ignition on the guages. The car has been perfect since day 1, always started with the key and remote day or night, hot or cold, even in a major blizzard we had. It still starts perfect every time with the key with no delay, but nothing but cranking with the remote.

Here is what I've done to solve the problem:

- Changed the battery in the remote, twice (2 different brands)
- Cleaned the car battery very thoroughly
- Went to the place of installation to have it serviced & nothing out of place or shot
- Checked fuses & all are good
