engine failure?

Hello everybody,

recently my check engine light came on and I could feel obvious intermittent misfiring. I checked the obdii code and It told me cylinder 4 is missing. When I get to about 50-60 the light starts flashing and I experience almost complete loss of power. I have checked the plug and it was fine, I replaced the coil and still no success. The only other thing that could be a problem is I have a minor crack in my manifold that I haven't gotten around to fixing but I do not see how that could be a problem. When i took out the plug and boot I checked for coolant that may have leaked into the cylinder but there wasn't any. Any ideas?

Hey! How's it going? That minor crack in the intake manifold could be causing the misfire if the mixture is lean enough to prevent ignition. See if you can put something in that crack to check out the code. Then, let us know if you still have a problem.
