93 Taurus Speakers
I own a 1993 Ford Taurus GL and I am looking to put new speakers in. So i think that the rear speakers are 5x7, so would it be possible to put 6x9 speakers in there? My big question is what size are the front speakers? What size of speaker can I fit in there. I don't know how to get at them, do i have to take the whole door panel off see them? Thats what i have no idea what size they are. Thanks in advance and any help would be appreciated.

Re: 93 Taurus Speakers
Yes, for the fronts, you'll need to take the door panel off to access them. When researching new door speakers, keep in mind the limitations on speaker depth so the new speakers don't interfere with the windows when rolled down. You might try Crutchfield to get an idea on speaker options, although it's not 100% accurate.
