Head lights
We have 1997 Courgar XR7 and the head lights are bad. The right lens cover is all foggy. We've put in 60$ bulbs and tryed cleaning the lens with special cleaner. DID NOT help. The daughter refuses to drive the car at night because you just can't see. NEED HELP What do we do?????? Can we adjust the beams? purchase just the lens cover? or what???

Re: Head lights
Sometimes the plastic lens on a headlight is just too far gone to bring it back with special cleaner. I had the same problem on my Escort. If the fog is on the outisde you can do this: Go to the auto parts place and get some #400 and #600 wet or dry sandpaper. 400 is fine sandpaper and 600 is very fine sandpaper. Sand them down wet with the 400 then sand them wet with the 600. Finish them using white rubbing compound. Then, go ahead and use your special cleaner. If the foggy plastic is on the outisde this will take care of it. If you want new headlight assemblies you can get a pair of new for $150 on ebay. I think this is about 1/2 of what the Dealer wants.
