help getting amp wiring through firewall

Ok, today my bro and I planned to hook up my subs and amp in my Lumina '97.

We ran into a snag that pretty much prevented use from going any further.

We have to run wiring from the amp, through the firewall in thr front and too the battery. However, we see no way to getting it there. It's so tight in there that we can get a drill to drill through the firewall and even then, we don't know what we will hit. We thought about feeding the wire through the side of the door where the hing is but like I said, no hole.

Anyone else have experience with wiring up thier subs and amp in a '97 Lumina? All I need is a hole to get the wiring through. The rest is simple.

Re: help getting amp wiring through firewall

there is a Hole already installed in yur lumina were all your wires from steering wheel go through at you should see it, it will have a rubber plug in it, dont remove the plug pain in the ass to put back in but simply get a coat hanger and attach sub wire to one end and run other end through the side of the plug it will go right through without damiging the plug and will also let the plug seal the hole after the wire is run through
