Rear drums. any thing to look for??

Ok, so the next step in my "Fix all the small stuff thats been wrong with this car for ages" project!

The rear prakes in my 94 SL2 with drum brakes dont seem to be working. Being it has almost 180k and has NEVER had them replaced!!!!!!!

Any tricks to the Saturn rear brakes??? Pretty much the same as other cars???

No tricks. use pb blaster around the hub. If they stick, just get a really big hammer and have at it.

Also, the drums are most likely fine. The shoes, also, are most likely fine. However you need to adjust them. Yes there are "automatice" adjustments however they dont work well if at all, so manual adjustment is needed. Adjust them one click at a time; put the drum back on, wheel back on and spin it. You want them to rub and come to a stop in about 3 seconds. Keep repeating this untill you get to that point
