96 grand am coolant change

have a 97 grand am v6. 3.1. I want to flush my coolant but i cant find the drain in order to drain it... is it a screw, bolt, plug? i looked underneath the car by the radiator, but couldnt find anything. the frames in the way.. unless im missing it.

You might be able to see it better from the top? I think it looks like a wing nut but it is plastic.

Yep, its on the driver side of the cars radiator on the bottom corner you'll definitly see it better from the top.

I would be carefull with the drain cock on these. If it doesnt want to turn I wouldnt force it or it could break off.

At that point you would have to pull the radiator hoses off and pop out a blcok drain to get the rest out.

Thier are two block drains, both are located on the sides/center(front - rear of engine compartment)of the block. They have a square hole in them which a 3/8" ratchet end will fit into to loosen.
