2 step with DSMlink

does anyone know how to set up the 2 step with DSMlink? i finally folded and bought the clutch switch i needed from Mitsubishi, and now im having trouble figuring out how to set up the launch control w/ the clutch... i can get it to work when the car is sitting still, but the only problem is, when i do not press the clutch, the launch control is still active. i know the the switches are functioning properly, because the cruse control still works. i guess what i am looking for is how to set up the shutter box? i would ask on dsmlink, but i feel like a noob asking, and here, you guys know, that is not the case. any info will help. thanks. opcorn:

ecu- rpms then you click enable clutch cut.
then go to rpm's and set your desired launch rpm and you're disable mph and you're done!

remember though your engine rpm will always be limited by your launch speed if you are under the speed you have designated so if you just sit while you're stopped and rev you will still hit the box limiter. It only shuts off after you past a certain mph. I use 7mph.

so their isnt a way to make the shutterbox inactive when im not pressing the clutch? like it will rev normal when the clutch isnt pressed, but when i press the clutch, the shutter box is then active at say, 3500 rpm?

no not with link. why would you want to just rev the engine like that anyways?

So with link the studderbox runs off of speed and not the clutch switch? Blackgst said he bought the clutch switch he needed but whats the point of even hooking that up if you cant rev over your launch rpms till your over the set MPH?

It looks only at the speed to engage the launch rpm limit, so you'll need to provide some sort of speed signal to the ECU, even if it isn't accurate.
