Drivers side headlight on my 03 Windstar stopped working this morning. Found some place in a Google search, any recommended places?

Re: Need Headlight Assy. 2003 Windstar
The lamp (bulb) will cost about $10. A number of aftermarket places, such as AutoZone, may change it out for you ... not very difficult ... see the glovebox manual. There are also fuses that may be the issue.
The entire headlight assembly (new) will cost about $300 at the dealer. Rarely needed unless the original one is smashed. |

Re: Need Headlight Assy. 2003 Windstar
Bulb comes out the back side of the housing.....
Do NOT touch the surface of the bulb....the oil from your fingers will make hot spots on the bulb surface and cause it to fail soon. The Sylvania 9007 bulb it about $11 each at Autozone..... If you want to upgrade, the Sylvania Xtra Vision is about $22 for a pair. When I read up about them on the Sylvania website.....the Extra Vision actually gave BETTER visibility than the Silver Star, which is much more expensive. If you need the whole housing.....I would check on ebay.....you can save some money there.
