front brake rotors

I've taken the brake caliber off. should the rotor come off then...this is on a 2000 mustang

After you remove the wheel and caliper, the rotors should come off. Check to see if there is a little spring nut on one of the lug bolts holding it on. If so, remove it and toss it. It is possible that they are "stuck" on there from corrosion. You can whack it with a small sledge using a piece of wood to prevent damage or you might have to use some heat.

Before I replace my rotors, I always use a small, very small amount of wheel bearing grease to keep them from getting "frozen" on.
