Disconnect panic button

How do I disconnect the panic button feature on my 2004? I`m tired of the thing going off when the remote is in my pocket and keys or whatever inadvertently set it off.

Re: Disconnect panic button

I open up the remote and put a piece of tape or paper or plastic covering the contact point for the alarm button

Re: Disconnect panic button

I guess that`s one way of doing it. Hoping there is a relay or something I could disconnect.
