Exclamation 91 5.0 problems cont.

thanks so much .. but another problem has happened. The fuel pump I guess was cleaned out but now I'm having the same problem. I just filled the tank up but the car doesn't turn off. I was told it sounds like its not getting the gas where it needs to be to start. I tried to rock the car a little bit but still nothing. HELP PLEASE I don't know what else to do but wonder what the fuel relay does and if mine is bad?

http://www.autopart.com/tools/toolsmain/tool/T_3440.htm This is a picture of a ford fuel pump tester. Otherwise pull the relay and borrow one from a friend with a ford. If this solves your problem buy a new one. Some times the relay from the AC or fan will work for a test. http://www.alldata.com sells a years subscription for around $25.00 they have good wiring diagrams. Their is a reset switch normally a brace in the trunk you can push this. Check at the plug for the fuel pump for power. Pull the vacuum hose for the fuel pressure regulator if leaking fuel replace.
