Problems fitting wheels

On my Tamiya RX7 Efini kit. The rear wheels fit perfect, however the front wheels aren't going in all the way and I'm afraid to push any harder for fear of breaking it. Has anyone built this kit and had similar problems? Or have any idea how I can solve this? The wheels feel like they are all the way in, but it really doesn't look right.

Re: Problems fitting wheels

Don't know the kit, so I can't say anything definitively.

Have you tried swapping the front and rear wheels? Sometimes the center post is longer on one set than the other, and in the wrong position this will happen. Tamiya did this on their Gnu Beetle kit.

Got any pics of the problem?
