redoing an si head.
I just got a Si head from my brothr and im going to be putting it on when i do the mpfi conv i wanted to know if i could drop the head off to a machine shop and they could put bigger valves in it. i dont know if that would help with hp but just thought id ask what else could i do to the head to get as much hp out of it as possible. port and polish it?

Only thing that i would bother doing is a mild port and polish (PnP).

Would bigger valves hurt the ecu or make the performance worse?I may be wrong but on muscle cars i thought they put bigger valves in. Is the honda engine different than that.Lets say you wanted to do major head work what would a guy who drang races only do?

and mild port and polish sounds good to me
