Re: Trans cooler & deep trans oil pan
Trans coolers are touch and go. If you get it to cool it can damage the trans just as getting it to hot.
Though a small one will work. The other trick is getting the hoses to seal or they'll leak(or spray) fluid everywhere. One with metal fittings and or double hose clamps on every end helps. On the trans pan I have seen them on the net. They were advertised for the grand prix but was the same trans 4t60-65e. Around $150 though. ![]() I used to have one on my SE but I dont think it helpd much.

Re: Trans cooler & deep trans oil pan
If you could remember where you got your deep pan it would be nice, I searched and searched and searched but nothing
for 4t60e or 65e. They come now with air coolers on the bottom. Thank you in advance

WHAT !?!@?
Thies three or four different pans on that page... #16XX. Shallow cast aluminum pan. Cost $195.00 #16XXX. Deep cast aluminum pan. Holds 4 extra quarts. Cost $210.00 #16XXXX. Two level cast aluminum pan. Holds 2 extra quarts. Cost $210.00 My bad that last one was for a RWD vett trans. ![]() Like I said, they arent cheap! Edit..... Btw here is the link for the trans cooler I used on my 99 SE, it was the B & M Transmission Cooler: Supercooler; 19000 GVW; 11" x 7-.50" x 3/4" plus the store I went to had all the fittings I needed to plumb it right, again not cheap. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...goryCode=3352B I think thier is a GA site that has the kit with everything but its realy pricey cant remember where I saw it though. Hope that helps
