Thant must have been a rough stage on the tires!!! Great weathering, it looks like it just finished a stage up the mountain.

Another rally car and another great build.

I really like the weathering. Haven't had the guts myself (yet) to weather a rally car, but it sure looks good.

Hi,

according to the sides the chassis should be more dirty IMO

Did you forget to paint the seat belts? They end at the seatīs rear ????

Re: Tamiya 1/24 subaru impreza 2005 monte carlo - solberg

A couple of things:
with tyres like that, Petter would NEVER reach the stage end. He'd be staring at the scenery just outside his front/side windows

even though the FIA had banned the use of ceramic exhaust systems, Subaru still employed a method of heat shielding on theirs so the exhaust wouldn't show like a standard 3" stainless system

I thought the rear passenger windows were supposed to show Petter's name, not the event window decal. I don't recall this FIA reg

don't even get me started on the belts - nice that they are

and to top it off, the real car is fitted with c/f & titanium bash plates on the underside for a really good reason

I think it looks great, despite a few minor inaccuracies some people have mentioned. The weathering also looks good although those tyres look like they've been through hell . Nice photography too...that head-on, tilted shot looks really good.
