How much HP & TQ does the '99 Honda Civic EX have?

You think I'm bashing but I'm really not. Do you think 127hp is a lot, I sure don't. And for the most part you have to agree Honda's are torqueless.

My car may have 132hp stock(more than a Civic) but at least it has more torque!

I know Honda don't have torque,everyone that drives one knows,the point is the guy asked for answer to a question not your,or anyone else's interputation of his motors power.I hardly think the 3 more lbs your neon puts out is worthy of the praise "more torque!"

HP = 150 @ 6,500 rpm
torque = 133 @ 5,500

2003 std
HP = 132 @ 5600
torque = 130 @ 4600

Get your facts straight. A Neon is actually lighter than a Honda Civic, not by much but is lighter. I have a 96 Neon that weighs in at 2352lbs. I took a comparison of both cars in the 99 year.

Taken from MSN:

99 Honda Civic Ex Coupe = 2513lbs
99 Honda Civic Sedan = 2513lbs

99 Dodge Neon R/T = 2478lbs
99 Dodge Neon Highline = 2468lbs
