I need Speed!!!!!!

I own a 91 integra LS - 5 speed. Has 60,000 miles.
I want to do a engine swap.
I want the car to run mid 13's, maybe high 12's (w/NOS if i have too.) No turbo.
I want the car to be more a street car than an everyday car.
All my buddies have 5.0, and I want to blow the doors off their rides.
Where do I start?

build a CRV-tec. You take to bottom end of a CRV engine, get some higher performance pistons and rods and put a V-tec head on it. Spend about three grand and your car will easily run mid to low 13 without nos.
I can tell you more about it later when I have more time.

Thanks for the response.
I was thinking about spending more aroung 5G's, and going with a whole complete engine and tranny if possible. I just was wondering if anybody could give me any places to go, who to talk to etc...

If you want to do an engine swap go to hmotorsonline.com they have complete changeovers for pretty good prices. A complete B18C5 (Integra Type-R motor) costs about $4700 and comes with everything(motor,tranny,ecu,axles,etc....) You won't run mid 13's with it though. You might run low 14's. If you want to spend about 5g's I would still recommend the CR V-tec. You could get a bottom end from a CR-V for about $600 and I'm not sure how much a top end would cost(I'd recommend the top end from a B18C1) Spend about $600 for some pistons and rods(crower makes pretty good ones) and put those in. You can also go with crower stage two cams and high performance valves, valvesprings and retainers. Then get a tranny from an Integra Type-R(it comes with LSD) and you will easily hit mid 13's or high 12's with NOS. And this whole setup costs you probably right around 5G's. If you got the Type-R tranny you would have to convert to a hydraulic clutch, which is not too hard. You have to buy the clutch master cylinder etc. and run some brake lines but that's it.

ls/vtec would be a lil cheaper, an wouldn't put down as good of numbers vs a stock crvtec, but would leave u a lil cash for extra goodies on ur ls/vtec.

if you want to have a little extra cash to spend after buying the motor then i would go with a B18C1 and fully build it. it would be more reliable than CRVTEC. Just my $0.02 tho.

I really do not know what I am doing to some extent. My dad and I rebuilt a old 72 'cuda, and put a big block in it, top from bottom. Paint, body work, to changing motor, cams, etc... We go to the tract all the time. BUT, we never messed with a car like this. It is our new project. I was looking on the net a saw a bunch of motor and trans. combos, but i am new to the game and trying to get a feel of what kind of combos people are running with. All i know is i want to run low 13's/ high 12's, with about 5G's in the pot. Thanks for all of the responses.

LS/VTEC...shit since your motor only has 60k on it the bottom end should be nice and tight still. I would just get a B16a head and go to town, much cheaper than just about any other option.

Keep your motor and install some crower 62404's with the spring/retainer kit along with the basic I/H/E and apexi safc and a 75 shot of nitrous and you will be there alot quicker. You'll need some sticky tires and a clutch also. Lsd would not hurt but is rather expensive.
