the dash clock

my dash clock in my 2000 eclipse will not let me change anything. it displays a random time everytime the car is started. i was wondering if anyone knew what this could be or just to get a new unit to be put in.

hm couldnt tell ya. have u tried making sure all the wires and harnesses are plugged in right? or maybe just try giving it a little love tap or whack? ha it works on the driver information center on my grand prix.
