94 talon bad idle!!!
i have a 94 talon that has a bad idle. it surges from around 800 to almost dieing. i changed the plugs wires and did a fuel system cleaning. once i get it into gear and get driving it runs fine. ive done some resourch and im thinkin the iac. sound like that could be it??? just dont want to spend the 300 bux and not fix the car. the timing belt snapped and i replaced the timing set and then the car ran like this. timming is dead on. what do you guys think???

what kinda iac are you spendin 300 bucks on? mine was $70 at autozone

 yea, id say its low 96 eclipse gs, custom ram intake, 4:1 header, no cat, straight through muffler, 2'' lowering springs, rear interior removed and replaced with false bottom, kenwood deck, lightning audio fronts, pioneer rear, rockford fosgate punch series 600w class d mono amp, alpine type r 12'' sub- hit 131.3 at the passenger head rest
