Hey everyone, I'm looking for a good condition 4 barrel carburetor for my 1967 pontiac firebird, it's a 400 engine - anybody that's got one for cheap e-mail me and we can talk about it! :alien:

Why's that interesting? The 67 Firebird with an L64 400 was faster than the 67 V8 Camaro. They just got a later start on their designs...

Look for a Rochester Quadrajet and get a rebuild kit. It'll work the best for street/strip if tuned correctly. It was the stock Carb on your car. They flow 750cfm and are an amazing carb.
You can find decent condition ones on ebay, or a core to rebuild. If you do a lot of track driving get a Holley for ease of use. |
