Transmission service on a 2008 optima
Well out 2008 optima is about 15K miles. Time for a transmission service. Is it just fluid filter and gasket like the older vhicles or is there something more? Flush? The owners manual is very vague.
Thanks |

15000 and it needs tranny service ? I have never heard of anything that needs that before 30-35K miles .

Appearantly you have been ignoring your owners manuals for quite a long time.

Re: Transmission service on a 2008 optima
No don't own a Kia but have never seen a 15000 mile service interval on any other brand even under the severe schedule . Chryslers severe schedule for tranny service is now 60000 miles ...

The kia is a dran plug. Draing 5 Quarts and add 5 quarts. Easier than an oil change. No wonder these vehicles last so long. |
