92 4runner no headlights, dimmer

hey guys, just bought another 92 4runner, third runner ive owned (88,92,95) got the tacoma buyback,, love toyota!! anyways the 92 v6 4x4 seems to have two issues,, 1) headlights do not work unless you pull and hold back the headlight wand, 2) none of the power windows work,, and i checked the button that controls all windows,, if anyone else has had these problems and found a cheap solution, please let me know thanks

1. sounds like the multifunction switch/wand is broken.

2. check fuses and relays for power windows.

The headlight problem does sound like the combination switch, no easy/cheap fix I'm aware of.

For the power windows there is a ckt brkr in the fuse panel behind the drivers kickpanel.

thanks guys, i figured out the headlights, there is actually an article on here on how to take the lever out and fix, that i found... the windows are a little more stuborn,, i found the ckt brkr or #14 on the chart but i can not get it out of there, nor could the guy at autozone, gonna investigate further this weekend,, i really appreciate the help, i wish this site was around when i had my 88 4runner in h.s. ,, it would have saved me a ton of money, but hey the internet wasnt around then either..

fixed the power window problem, thanks to fourwd1.. you were very helpful and i really appreciated it,,, found the crkt brkr in the kick panel, after tracing all the wires in the door, and checking all door controls,, the pink brkr was bad,, cost me $3.69 at yota dealer, and the problem was fixed.... now i can lower all my windows ,, and dont look like cheech and chong, when i exit from my ride
