GTS Brake Pads?

Any suggestions for GTS brake pads. I currently run the PFC 97's and they work fine but there's always something better out there. Any good sources for Brembo rotors?

Re: GTS Brake Pads?

I had good results with the PFC 97's too. They are long lasting (a season easy), and are easy on the rotors. But I want more bite so I'm going to change to the PFC '01 pad. It's got 15% more torque, but still has a good reputation for modulation and feel.
As far as Brembo rotors, I have two suggestions. First call the US Brembo guys. They are very helpful. If they can't tell you which distributor has the rotors, then you're in deep do-do. The other is to do a google search and see what comes up.

Re: GTS Brake Pads?

PFC01 is the best pad IMHO

Re: GTS Brake Pads?

I'm pretty sure the last set I got from Panoz was now the PFC 01s. Give Josh a call and see what they are using at Panoz...price was the same. BTW it's a spec pad so if you are SCCA GT2 purist they should be current Panoz issue.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the '01's? I got a set from PFC's on-line distributor which had previously sold me PFC pads for my Z06. I paid $305 for the fronts and $258 for the rear pads. I'm wondering if I paid too much. Always looking to stretch the budget....

Re: GTS Brake Pads?

Memory foggy....but I think it was about $280/set. I tried to find them online cheaper/faster, but couldn't. Like to support Panoz when possible.
