2001 S10 Tail Light/reverse lights

My right tail light went dim on me and if i had the truck in drive the break would cut both tail lights off.. I found a yellow wire connected to the black wire on the right side and pull on it and it worked perfectly, allowing my backup lights and both tail lights to work fine. I figured the wire was grounding out somewhere so i replaced it (it ran from the right side to the left side) after doing this my turn signals worked right and my break lights worked right but i lost my tag light and running lights in the back. also my gauge light and marker lights on the head lights stopped working completely..

anybody know where i can get a wiring diagram of the tail lights or have any ideas what could be going on.

Bad ground?
A good volt/ohm meter or test light will show a bad ground.
On checking fuse check for power to it and threw it.

For wiring diagram.
Factory repair manual or all dara online sub.
http://www.alldata.com/products/diy/index.html

Also a lot of public liabarys hav car repair info.

Good luck
