Are headers worth it?

I have an 88 s10 blazer that i am planning on putting a 355 in to. But is it really worth the trouble of changing plugs with headers. Or just get the stock camaro exhaust manifolds? beacause depending on the difficulty my decision will be.

i have a 93 blazer and i got headers. they make it sound more mean but you got to tighten the bolts up about every week or so i personally would not trade my headers for a regular manifold but i like rumble
