vac reduction...high idle
So over the weekend i got my lifters finished up, and also did a vacuum reduction and an EGR delete. Now it's idling a bit high (1000-1100 rpm)
should i be looking for a vac/boost leak? or maybe i knocked something on the throttlebody? any insight would be appreciated. |

Re: vac reduction...high idle
Sounds like an intake leak. Make sure the EGR delete is sealed.

Re: vac reduction...high idle
hmmm...should i have RTV'd the plenum gasket? I RTV'd the block-off plates pretty well, so i think they're ok...

Re: vac reduction...high idle
Probably should have just replaced the plenum gaskets.
