Did you check the rear valve cover area? To the left (driver's side).

If it's like my old Cavalier Z-24 I had, it's tucked under the upper plenum in the rear valve cover, maybe just a bit toward the drivers side of dead center. I believe you have to remove the upper plenum to change it (way to go GM engineers!).
